Sugar Rush

A little while ago, I entered a giveaway with Essbeevee and Blinkbox, to win some fancy popcorn and some free rentals from Blinkbox. I haven’t used Blinkbox before, but it’s basically an online movie rental website, where you pay for each rental, rather than a monthly fee with somewhere like Netflix or LoveFilm.

Much to my delight, I won! A few days ago, this little parcel arrived from Blinkbox. Their movie selection looks pretty good, and I’m already planning what to use my codes for.

The popcorn, which is meant to be an aphrodisiac, is Ginseng, Ginger and Chocolate. While I’m not sure how much of an aphrodisiac having popcorn kernels stuck in your teeth is, the popcorn was very tasty!

I’ve been catching a few life shots with Lomogram again.

1. Tom is off being very glamorous at the BAFTA Games tonight, and was loving having a tux. After he told me he felt like James Bond in his tux when he went to pick it up, I couldn’t resist buying him some 007 cufflinks. Tom was part of a team up for the Ones To Watch award. Unfortunately, they didn’t win, but he seems to be having a brilliant night anyway, and got to shake the hand of one of his heroes, so he’s happy anyway.
2. Tom bought me a BUCKET of jelly tots for Valentines day. As it happened, they only just got delivered (thanks, internet), so I’ve been devouring them in stupid quantities. Sugar high!
3. Does this mean my tea is bigger on the inside?

In life news, I took Tom back to Hereford for a mate’s birthday, and to introduce him to my mum and some of my old work friends. It was great to catch up with friends I’ve not seen for a long time, even if a night that was intended as a quiet drink finished up with us at a friend’s flat until 2am, and Rats As Big As Cats finding half a bottle of rum in her handbag the next day.
