I’ve had quite the busy weekend! It was my dad’s 50th birthday on Friday, so we went out for dinner here in Bath. The lovely people at Gascoyne Place took great care of us; we were thoroughly impressed. I had the most amazing steak, and may have (as usual) drunk lots of wine. Perfect birthday dinner.
Today, my mum came over for a visit. We went for lunch at a place down the road from my work, where I carried on my weekend of gluttony by ordering the biggest burger I have ever seen. After lunch, we went to check out the Fashion Museum. They’re changing the main exhibition over at the moment, but we were able to see the permanent collection for £2 each, which was a total bargain. Photography isn’t allowed in the museum, so I haven’t got any pictures to share. The museum was fantastic though, really great stuff in there, and so interesting. If you’re in Bath, it’s a must.
As is now traditional with visitors, we went to check out the Circus and the Royal Crescent. If someone would like to buy me a house here, I’d be a very happy girl.
I’ve spent my evening getting some stuff listed on Ebay. In a shameless plug, if you’re interested, you can find my Ebay store here. At the moment, I’m selling mostly clothes, including a Hell Bunny dress and some pretty cool flatforms. No, shoo, go!
Happy bday to your dad! I'd love to hear more about the Fashion Museum! X
