So what’s been catching my eye lately?

The Song

I’ve been reliving some of my teen angst tastes and listening to a bit of Motion City Soundtrack the last couple of days. They do have some pretty great songs, and I’ve been humming this a fair bit today. Proper stuck in my head.

The TV Show

I got introduced to Community at the weekend. I’m only a few episodes in, but loving it so far. It reminds me a bit of the first series of Green Wing; light on plot but heavy on fun. Great TV.

The Film

I mentioned in my last post that I’d been Star Wars watching. Han Solo is just so cool.

The Dress

I bought this foxy number today from Dorothy Perkins. I wandered in on my lunch-break, not intending to buy, when the bright red caught my eye. I love red, but didn’t own a red dress. I’d not really bothered to look at the Kardashian Kollection in Dotty P’s, as I must admit, most of it looked a bit tacky and tarty to me. But I actually really like this. The fit is flattering, and not tarty at all. I wouldn’t have paid the original £40 price tag, as the fabric does feel a bit cheap, but at £7 in the sale? Get in my wardrobe. The dress is sold out online now, I think, and this was the last one in my local store, but the green version is still on the website, at the time of posting.
