Duo Competition

Duo are running a competition on their blog to create a look using a pair of their boots or shoes, to win a pair of boots or shoes from their Autumn/Winter collection. I wasn't familiar with the brand, but when I checked out the website, I was really impressed. 

I've picked out a pair of black, knee-high boots because I really want some! If I win, these are totally what I'm picking! They're a nice heel height, and the heel looks nice and chunky too. I'm also loving the buckle detailing. 

So, the rest of the outfit. I've gone for a work look, as I spend most of my time in work clothes. I'm a sucker for polka dots, so the pencil skirt was a no brainer. The pairing with the jumper is quite 'classic', as is the handbag and the seam detail of the tights. The buckles on the boots give the look a little bit of 'edge' though, as does the collar necklace. Collar necklaces can be quite twee, but the colour and shape of this one kept it a bit 'cooler'. 

Ok, I have to go and buy that skirt now...
