60s Shapes

009

  • Dress from TKMaxx
  • Shoes from Marks and Spencer

This shift shape isn’t one I wear very often. I love 60s shapes on other people, but they don’t generally suit me all that well. It’s 50s all the way for me. Anyway, I wore this for a night-out with some work buddies at the weekend.

I’m all out of sync with what day it is thanks to being off work for the bank holiday. These things are too much for my simple brain.

I don’t have much to share in the way of news, I’m afraid. I’m having all sorts of battles with my phone, which sadly means it’s refusing to install Instagram. It’s finally on Android phones and mine throws a fit. I am gutted. Still, it’s pretty sharply cured my sudden addiction to Draw Something. Seriously, DO NOT get an HTC Wildfire S. Awful phone. Can anyone suggest a good Android replacement with some actual internal memory?

Right now I’m chilling out watching the Family Guy Star Wars. Funny stuff. I love Star Wars, although I don’t think I’ll be able to take it seriously now with the image of Stewie as Darth Vader in my brain.

  1. What a shame your phone doesn't like Instagram, it's my favourite app! Though Draw Something is pretty addictive huh? Love the dress, especially that big white collar!

    1. I am actually heartbroken at my lack of Instagram!
Thanks, I love the collar too, even if it is a bit Harry Hill

  2. Thanks for your advice about the HTC Wildfire, I am currently debating either that or a Samsung Galaxy as my next phone but I think I'll go with a Samsung! Everyone I've spoken to about it seems more in favour of a Samsung, so maybe you should look into that as an Android phone option?

As for the dress, I LOVE it! I can never be bothered to search through TK Maxx, but your posts are starting to make me feel like it's worth the effort.

    1. I might have a look at a Samsung, thanks for the tip. I had a Sumsung before, and got on pretty well with it.
TK Maxx can be amazing, but I have to be in the mood to dig! Their homeware stuff is quite good too.
