Red Carpet by caramellattekiss featuring logos jewelry
This week's IFB project was to come up a fantasy red carpet look. I couldn't resist the excuse to get on Polyvore and gaze at the clothes and accessories I'd have to sell all my possessions to afford.
If you ask me, if you're on the Red Carpet, go full length or go home. How often do you get the chance to go all out with a full-length showstopper?
This dress ticks all the boxes. Full length, gorgeous detailing, eye-catching colour and hat gathered waist is sure to suit anyone. I have a thing for red, so this dress was kind of a no-brainer.
The rest of my fantasy red-carpet look is pretty simple. A pashmina to combat some of the chill but still look glam, a little vintage Chanel, simple yet stunning jewellery, a bag with a bit of bling. And the shoes. They're chic without fighting the dress with attention. I think these would look gorgeous peeping out from under a hem.
Th ultimate accessory for this look is of course a gorgeous man on your arm in a sharp suit. I think this look would be perfectly complimented by Johnny Depp, Jude Law or maybe a more rock 'n' roll date, like Matt Bellamy. Or MrKiss could come, I suppose.
What's your fantasy look for an awards show?
