This is a slight cheat, rather than an outfit of the day, this is an outfit of several days ago. But it is an outfit nonetheless! Huzzah! This outfit is a really simple work look, made a bit more interesting with the patterned tights. Workwear is challenging, striking the balance between smart, comfortable for sitting at my desk in all day, and still interesting.
What do you wear to work?
I hope everyone had good New Years; did anyone do anything nice? My New Years Eve was very chilled, but really nice. MrKiss and I stayed with my dad in Cardiff, and we spent NYE watching Jools Holland and drinking lots of wine and eating gorgeous tapas. Very nice. I’m actually not a fan of being out on NYE, too full and too expensive. No thanks.
Can we just have a quick word about Sherlock? How good was a Scandal in Belgravia? Loved it. Irene Adler was fantastic, I adored her vintage look. Some definite outfit coveting there. The story was pretty different from the Conan Doyle original (A Scandal in Bohemia), but I thought it was well done. They took the base premise of the original and took it somewhere different, but somewhere that made sense I thought. While not true to the original plot, it was true to the original feel. I thought so anyway. Did anyone else watch? What’s your verdict?
you look very chic :)
