More polka dots! I do love a good polka dot. I wish this dress was about an inch longer though. It’s just slightly too short for my tastes. I’m not the tallest of ladies, so it does make me wonder what on earth is going with dresses at the moment. Everything is either a little short, like this (surely indecent on average height and tall girls) or stupidly long. Very peculiar.

I had some good news yesterday. When my probationary contract ends at the end of this month, I’ll be made permanent at The Courtyard, which is great. Exciting stuff. It is nice to b employed! Especially in something I enjoy.

I’m keeping up my good behaviour with food this week. I’ve been taking lunch to work with me, and have been pretty good at staying away from packing myself rubbish. I made a massive tuna salad yesterday which was lush. I went for a run this morning, first thing, which was surprisingly enjoyable. I’ve felt much energised all day. It was ridiculously cold though. I usually run by the river, but I could hardly see it this morning for the fog! The thick frost looked really pretty though. I came home to find my hair was wet with it, and frost has formed on my headphone cables and in my eyelashes!

Blogging goal wise, I’m also doing well, I think. Are you enjoy the much more regular posting? I’ve expressed an interest in taking part in the next Matalan blogger style challenge. I doubt I’ll be picked, I suspect I’m still too small in blogger terms, and properly not a reliable enough poster yet for them to hand out vouchers to me! I’ll keep trying though, and I’m sure I’ll get a go at some point, even if it’s not this time. I think the way Matalan is working with bloggers is interesting; it’s great to see brands embracing blogger power and trying to find ways to interact with us.
